Tim E Burns

Americana/Red Dirt/Roots/Folk Singer and Guitarist

Originally from Central California Tim grew up with musical influences that ranged from Loretta Lynn to The Doobie Brothers to Buck Owens. Tim found himself leaning towards the LA/Bakersfield Country sound early on, where the stories and images presented with the lyrics are an important part of the performance.  You’ll find these influences and style represented in his music which can best be described as Americana/Red Dirt/Roots/Folk. Tim spent many years playing as a band member with groups that spanned original songs to Contemporary Christian to Top 40 Country to Gospel mixed with a few classic rock tunes.  He has played on many stages across the U.S. and Canada. He has won awards for original song, group/duo and vocal competitions. He has also played on and produced albums for Gabriel’s Voice, Two $ Ransom, Stripped By Hippies and his latest solo release Old Dad Wash.  Recently Tim was also involved in a short film (Cries of the wounded, Silence of the Dead) where his song Gettysburg” was featured.
