Food & Beverage Concession RFP 2018

After 10 years, we have an exciting opportunity for several Food & Beverage locations at the San Jose Airport. In preparation for request for proposals (RFP) later this year, we hosted outreach sessions to provide information about the upcoming opportunities at the Airport and how business owners can get involved on July 24 and July 25, 2018. The City of San José encourages DBE participation in our bidding process, and prime contractors are encouraged to consider DBE firms for their subcontracting opportunities. A complete list of certified DBE firms is available on the California Department of Transportation website. This searchable database provides DBE firm information by location (county) and by work code, NAICS code, or license type to help generate a list of relevant firms.

Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (ACDBE)

The Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport is committed to a Program for the participation of Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (ACDBEs) in airport concession-related contracting opportunities in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 23.

It is the policy of the City of San José (City) to ensure non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, or national origin in the award and administration of its concession-related contracts. It is the intention of the City to create a level playing field on which ACDBEs can compete fairly for contracting opportunities related to the City’s concession activities.
