San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) will be seeking proposals from qualified developers and operators for the long-term ground lease and development of approximately 15 acres of airport property.  This opportunity is aimed at delivering high-quality General Aviation Aeronautical facilities and services that enhance the Airport’s role as a regional hub, while supporting innovation, strong operations, and environmental stewardship. The selected proposer will design, build and operate a comprehensive aviation-focused development that contributes to the continued growth of SJC and the surrounding community.

SJC Airport is hosting an Industry Outreach Day to share preliminary information about the site and the anticipated opportunity on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. The Airport welcomes in-person participation to gather feedback, answer questions and provide potential proposers with an early understanding of the project as they begin to prepare for the opportunity.
