Women of Aviation Worldwide Week - Featuring Judy Ross, SJC’s Assistant Director of Aviation

Meet Judy Ross, A.A.E., C.A.E., Mineta San José International Airport’s (SJC’s) Assistant Director of Aviation.

Judy brings more than two decades in the Aviation industry to her role at SJC, where she leads a team of more than 200 employees, managing the Airport’s day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning. Her expertise provides oversight and guidance on SJC’s capital program, including the design and construction of vital safety, security, and customer-service related capital improvement projects at the Airport.

Currently, Judy is President of the Southwest Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (SWAAAE) and is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Board of Directors.

Judy earned a Master’s degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. Judy’s career in Aviation has also included executive roles at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), Little Rock National Airport (LIT), and San Diego International Airport (SAN).
