TSA ConfirmID

TSA now offers an optional service called TSA ConfirmID for travelers who arrive without an acceptable form of identification.

If you lost your ID, forgot it at home or don’t have a REAL ID or another TSA-accepted ID, TSA may be able to verify your identity for a $45 fee before you go through security. The process takes about 10-30 minutes and is valid for up to 10 days from the travel date. TSA recommends enrolling and paying in advance to avoid delays.

Use of TSA ConfirmID is optional and approval is not guaranteed. If you do not have an acceptable ID and choose not to use the service, you may not be allowed through security. We encourage all travelers to bring proper identification and arrive early, especially during busy travel times.
