San José, Calif. – San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) welcomes winter holiday travelers with a lineup of festive amenities and seasonal programming designed to make journeys merry, bright and stress-free throughout the busy travel season.

Holiday Parking Savings
To make holiday travel even easier, SJC is offering exclusive on-site parking savings for winter travelers who book in advance. Travelers can save up to 20% on stays of five days or more and up to 30% on stays of eight days or more by reserving parking online during the promotional booking window.

Courtesy Carts Return to Terminal B
Complimentary Courtesy Carts staffed by SJC employees will be back in Terminal B to assist travelers in need of mobility support. Carts operate continuously between Gates 17–31 on select dates from Dec. 19 through Jan. 5 and passengers may simply hail a ride along the route. These carts can accommodate up to six passengers or a combination of passengers and luggage — ideal for families and holiday travelers.

Complimentary Gift-Wrapping Stations
From Dec. 22–25, SJC travelers can take advantage of complimentary self-service gift-wrapping stations located post-security in both terminals, near Gate 14 (Terminal A) and Gate 24 (Terminal B). The Airport will provide all necessary supplies, including wrapping paper, tape and scissors – travelers just need to bring the holiday cheer! This service is designed to make last-minute gift preparation easy and convenient for passengers during the busy holiday travel season.
For travelers packing gifts in checked luggage, TSA encourages gift bags, which they can easily open, or gift boxes with lids they can remove, so TSA officers can inspect those gifts, if necessary, and avoid the possibility of opening fully wrapped presents. SJC Happy Tails: Holiday Edition
SJC’s beloved therapy animals will be roaming the terminals throughout the holidays, spreading smiles, comfort and extra holiday cuddles for travelers of all ages.
Tips for Smooth Holiday Travel:
- Check in online before arriving at the Airport.
- Arrive early — TSA recommends at least two hours for domestic flights and three hours for international flights.
- Book parking in advance at flysanjose.com to save time and stress.
- Monitor airline apps for real-time updates.
- SJC advises using its Cell Phone Waiting Area (with a new location that opened in January 2025) or parking in the nearest hourly lot, as waiting at terminal curbs is strictly prohibited to maintain traffic flow.
