San José Mineta International Airport Upgrades Parking Convenience with Expanded Reservations and Carwash Option

SJC Travelers can now book a carwash and reserve parking at both Terminals A & B

SAN JOSE, CA – Officials at San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) announce today that the Airport has upgraded its onsite Parking program with the expansion of its Online Parking Reservation System and the addition of Future Wash exterior car washing service.

The Airport has added its Terminal A Parking Garage, or Hourly Lot 2, to the Online Parking Reservation System at a flat rate of $24 per day.  Terminal B Hourly and Daily Lot 5 is also now available for reservations online. Parking reservations continue to be available in the Airport’s Economy Lot 1 for a low flat rate of $18 per day.

The additions mean that travelers can now go online to the Airport’s Parking Page at flysanjose.com/parking, where they can see real-time parking availability, reserve and pay for parking, and book a waterless exterior car wash in the Airport’s Hourly, Daily and Economy parking lots.

“Seamless travel begins with preparations before arriving at the Airport, and these new options offer simple ways to support just that,” said SJC Director of Aviation, John Aitken. “We want travelers to be able to spend more time enjoying their trips, and less time looking for a parking space or wondering if their vehicle will be clean when they return. With these types of parking conveniences, we’re supporting a more simple and stress-free airport experience before the traveler ever steps onto our curbside or into our Terminals.”

Booking a Future Wash exterior carwash during your trip from SJC is easy, and comes with three convenient options:

1. Economy: Includes waterless hand wash of the body, glass, rims with tire shine and trim shine – ($59.99)
2. Business: Basic PLUS hand wax/sealant applied to body, glass and rims – ($89.99) 
3. First-Class: Exterior mini-detail – ($199.00) 
    

HOW IT WORKS 
During the online booking process, travelers provide their vehicle details, and upon completion, are contacted by the Future Wash mobile car washing team to confirm the order and the car’s reserved location. The vehicle is then cleaned at its parked location and ready two hours prior to the travelers’ scheduled return. A minimum 24-hour stay is required.

The Airport introduced its online parking reservations system in late 2021, offering online reservations in its Economy Lot 1, which requires a short shuttle ride to the terminals. With the new system upgrades, travelers can reserve parking spaces in on-Airport parking facilities closer to both Terminals and to elevators.
