Jersey came into his handler's life when he was eight months old and they've been a team ever since. It took three years of training and taming, but it has been clear since day one that he is a natural born therapy dog. He loves to provide comfort and affection and does it throughout the community in which he lives and everywhere he goes. He is the official therapy dog at the facility where his handler works as a nurse, and he volunteers at the local police department. He also visits homebound community members and people in wheelchairs. When Jersey is not working, he enjoys going for long walks, playing ball, chewing on bones, and eating all the yummy treats he can get.
