Runway Incursion Mitigation (RIM) & Design Standards Analysis Study

Goals

1. Retain the Airport’s capability to meet existing and projected aircraft operational demand         
   while:
   • Eliminating or reducing airfield hotspots and conditions/factors that contribute to         
     aircraft and vehicular runway incursions; and
   • Conforming to the airfield dimensional design standards and geometric guidance         
     criteria contained in AC 150/5300-13A to the maximum extent practical.
2. Update the Airport Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan to incorporate the selected airfield         
   configuration alternative that best achieves Goal 1.
