Making a Reservation
How do I make a reservation?
Navigate to parking.flysanjose.com, enter your intended dates and times of travel, and choose a parking facility that best suits your needs. At checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your name, address, phone number, email, and license plate number.
Is a fee applied to my reservation?
There are no additional fees.
How far ahead can I reserve a space?
You can book a reservation up to 6 months ahead of time.
What is the maximum number of days I can pre-book?
Currently there are no limits on the number of days you may pre-book. However, if your vehicle remains in the parking facility for more than 30 days after the end of the reservation period, the vehicle can be considered abandoned and towed at the owner’s expense.
Can I make a reservation the same day as my arrival?
Reservations can be made up until the day before your intended arrival. Same-day reservations are not available.
What is the minimum number of days required to make a reservation?
There is no minimum number of days required to make a reservation, but reservations are charged in increments of 24 hours.
Am I guaranteed a parking space at SJC with an online reservation?
Sufficient space is kept free in the parking facility for the day of your arrival. In the unlikely event your selected parking facility is full upon arrival, a refund will be provided. Please submit a refund request via the Airports reservation email, ParkingSJC@SJC.org.
Can I pre-book short stay or hourly parking?
Any reservations for less than 24 hours will be charged the full daily rate for that parking facility.
Can I pre-book accessible (ADA) or EV parking?
Making a reservation does not guarantee access to a specific parking space. Accessible Parking and van-accessible spaces can be found in all Airport parking facilities and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. EV charging units are available in Hourly Lot 2 and Hourly & Daily Lot 5.

When I make a reservation, will I be charged right away or not until after I have left the parking facility?
You will be charged at the time you complete the online reservation process. No additional action is necessary - please bring your confirmation email with QR code to the Airport to use your reservation.

Managing Your Reservation
What is the cancellation and refund policy for a parking reservation?
Prior to 2 hours before the start of your reservation, you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. Log on to parking.flysanjose.com and select ‘Manage my Reservation’. There are no refunds if a booking is cancelled less than 2 hours prior to the start of your reservation.
How do I amend or rebook my reservation?
Visit parking.flysanjose.com and select ‘Manage my Reservation’. Make sure you have your confirmation code available to access your reservation. Reservations can be modified up until 2 hours prior to the start of your reservation.
What happens if I lose my reservation confirmation number or QR code?

Can I extend a reservation?
It is not possible to extend a booking once you have already arrived at the parking facility. However, reservations can be modified up until 2 hours prior to the start of your reservation. Once inside the parking facility, any overstays past the end of your reservation will be charged at the rate posted at the entrance. Payment of overstay charges is required upon exit from the parking facility.
Using Your Reservation at SJC
What do I do when I arrive at SJC?
Follow the signs to the applicable parking facility on your confirmation email. Your QR code will not allow access to a different parking facility. If you drive to the wrong parking facility, please press the intercom button to speak to a Parking Representative.
Which lane do I use when entering the parking facility?
You can use any available lane to enter the parking facility.
What happens if I arrive before my reservation time, or leave after the end of the reservation time?
If you arrive more than 4 hours prior to your reservation start time, or depart more than 4 hours after the end time on your reservation, ingress and egress will not be permitted. Once the 4-hour grace period has expired, you will incur additional fees at the posted daily rates prior to exiting the parking facility.
For example, if a reservation is from 7am to 7pm, you will be able to exit the facility until 11pm without incurring additional charges.
What happens if my QR code doesn’t work at the facility entrance?
Please press the intercom button to speak to a Parking Representative. Please have your confirmation code available so we may look up your reservation.
What happens if I do not have my QR code at the entrance or exit?
Please press the intercom button to speak to a Parking Representative. Please have your confirmation code available so we may look up your reservation.
What happens if I return earlier than the end of the reservation time?
If you arrive early to your vehicle before the end of the reservation time, you may need to press the intercom to allow the vehicle to exit the parking facility. There are no refunds for unused time on the reservation.
What happens if I accidentally pull a ticket instead of scanning my QR code or using my license plate to enter the parking facility?
Please press the intercom button and advise the Parking Representative you accidentally pulled a ticket. The Operator will assist and provide further direction.
What happens if I need to leave and re-enter the parking lot again?
Your QR code may only be used for one entry and exit from the parking facility. Once you have used your QR code to exit the parking facility, your Reservation will be treated as complete. If you try to re-enter the parking facility with the same QR code, it will not work. To reenter the parking facility, you need to pull a ticket like a drive-up parking customer and start a new transaction. The current posted parking rates will then apply.
Are parking shuttles available at Airport parking facilities?
Complimentary shuttles to Terminals A and B are available 24/7. Shuttles arrive every 7-10 minutes and serve Economy Lot 1 and Daily Lot 4.
Are the parking lots monitored by security?
Parking lots are patrolled by Airport Operations, San José Police Department, and contract security personnel. Any emergencies in the parking lots can be reported by calling 911 or using the emergency callboxes and courtesy telephones inside most parking lots and garages, including at all shuttle bus stops.
