A San Jose native, Ken Pyle’s formative years were at a time when the San Jose area was still known as the Valley of the Heart’s Delight. He's seen the transition to and has been fortunate to participate in the Silicon Valley technology sector as an adult.
With a Bachelor of Economics from San Jose State University, and an Associate Degree in Mathematics from Mission College, Ken has had roles in manufacturing, engineering, field support, product management and sales for telecommunications’ equipment and content distribution companies.
In 2001, he co-founded Viodi, which, through its newsletter and associated video channel, provides insight into the latest regarding technology, particularly as it relates to rural broadband and associated ecosystem. He has produced hundreds of videos for Viodi, trade associations and corporations on topics ranging from autonomous vehicles, consumer electronics, Internet of Things and, Software-Defined Networking.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in activities at his Church and being involved in local neighborhood groups and activities.
His travel to more than 20 countries and all 50 states provides him with a first-hand perspective on how airports small and large facilitate people’s journeys. He looks forward to helping SJC continue its growth and help raise awareness of this great asset in the heart of our sun-soaked valley.
