The City of San Jose established the Airport Noise Advisory Committee to serve as an advisory body to the City Council and the Director of Aviation regarding Airport noise and curfew related issues and to provide a public forum for Airport policies and decisions. The Committee consists of the following individuals: an Airport Commissioner who acts as the Chairperson, two Citizen Representatives from San Jose, one Citizen Representative from Santa Clara, one City of Santa Clara Planner, one San Jose Planning Commission member, one Santa Clara City Councilperson, one Airline Representative, one Airman’s Association Representative, one Air Transport Association Representative, and one Business Representative.
The Airport Noise Advisory Committee meetings are typically held quarterly and the date of the meeting is posted two weeks in advance at the City Clerks Office.
